{"id":1942,"date":"2022-01-21T08:38:51","date_gmt":"2022-01-21T08:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/friendsofihes.ihes.fr\/?p=1942"},"modified":"2022-01-21T08:43:07","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T08:43:07","slug":"voices-of-women-at-ihes-alessandra-buonanno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/friendsofihes.org\/index.php\/2022\/01\/21\/voices-of-women-at-ihes-alessandra-buonanno\/","title":{"rendered":"Voices of Women at IHES: Alessandra Buonanno"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In preparation for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ihesgala.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ihesgala.org\/\">Friends of IHES Gala on Women in Fundamental Research<\/a> that took place on November 16, 2021, IHES collected testimonies from women related to IHES: previous and current visitors, as well as female scientists currently at IHES or connected to the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discover below the testimony of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aei.mpg.de\/alessandra-buonanno\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.aei.mpg.de\/alessandra-buonanno\">Alessandra Buonanno<\/a>, Director at the Max-Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam, also called Albert Einstein Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She looks back on her two-year postdoctoral appointment at IHES as she worked with Thibault Damour.
