AI research develops at the intersection of several disciplines: mathematics, computer science, but also physics and neuroscience. Its capabilities are growing exponentially and its potential is immense. To discuss this intriguing topic, we will welcome our honored guest speaker, Professor <strong>Yann LeCun<\/strong>, Director of AI at Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>This gala is a unique opportunity to share ideas with some of today\u2019s most brilliant minds. It also provides major support for IHES, allowing us to continue to offer exemplary research opportunities to our visiting researchers. Every year around 200 scientists on average come to IHES from all over the world to interact with some of the best mathematicians and theoretical physicists and to focus solely on their research.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to the evening\u2019s Exclusive Premier Sponsor, <strong>BNP Paribas<\/strong>, and to the Gala Chairs, <strong>Barbara Amonson and Vincent Della Pietra<\/strong>, and <strong> Florence and David Faucon<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe Friends of IHES is profoundly grateful to our main benefactors for their generous support of our mission.
